Reflected Posted January 23, 2018 Author Posted January 23, 2018 I've been digging myself into mission making lately, and this increased my appreciation to skins with variable ID letters. I've created so many P-51 skins, and I had the idea to create a default skin for each squadron I've worked on before. The squadron ID letters and the first 3 digits of the serial number are painted, the last 3 digits and the aircraft ID letter are variable in the mission editor. You still need to enter the full string, that is, for example: HOW414684 - with HO painted, W is your variable aircraft ID letter, 414 is painted, 684 is the variable part of the serial number. Squadrons included: 308th FS 328th FS 334th FS 335th FS 336th FS 338th FS 352nd FS 362nd FS 363rd FS 434th FS 486th FS 487th FS 487th FS with invasion stripes DOWNLOAD: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3123988/ Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord
Reflected Posted June 20, 2018 Author Posted June 20, 2018 Here's "Miss Dallas" from the 334th flown by Vic France aka. "The Playboy". It was originally a B model. He died when his Mustang smashed into the ground seconds after shooting down a 109 - he followed it in a screaming dive all the way to the ground.
