Bf 109 K4, bug ?

I did a fresh install of DCS 1.5.x, no mods, no JSGME

The same story happent with Bf 109, so far Spitfire is fine, no issues

But the weird think is, sometime i play 10 minutes ( Bf 109 ) and no issues at all, sometime straight away after i start it

Maybe here is someone with the same joystick / HOTAS ( X55 ) TrackIR 5 / Bf 109 / and could share all the input settings

I dont know what else i should try anymore

No, it's on the joystick

I tried with different settings for TrackIR5 ( center, pause, etc ) but still the same issue

Whats your joystick, SiThSpAwN ? Do you use TrackIR 5 also ?

I have X55 + TrackIR 5 but I've never experienced your problem..

Have you tried unbinding all your view axes and seeing if the unstable view persists?

I have the x55 and trackIr5 as well, best way to diagnose is to unplug 1 at a time and see if you have the issue. I mentioned the zoom because I have it mapped to an axis on the throttle and at times it can get jittery, and I have to tap it slightly to get it to stop.

Offtopic : i'd like to replace the Saitek X55, joystick and HOTAS

It's pretty hard to make a decision.

What else should i pick ? X52 / Pro ? X56 ?

I can't find nowhere the VKB Black Mamba, unfortunatelly

Here are my profiles for the X-55, as for replacing the X-55, I think those that you listed are pretty on par with what you have now.

Might sound stupid, but have you checked to see if there are any heat and or light sources directly behind you that might be causing interference with your trackir? Might be a good idea to run your trackir and make camera adjustments to light sensitivity, and look at the camera feed to see if there are any hot spots behind you or anything reflective. Ive had clothing with reflective designs that gave me some pretty maddening head tracking issues. Might be a small design, but underarmor shirts are the worst to fly in. So are Champion shirts, those cheap workout shirts you buy at Target.

Light Filter Threshold is between 30 and 253

I will give it another try, with 30 / 60 / 90 / 120 and 253

It doesn't help, as I said, I tried with and without Trackir 5

I have a Thrustmastrer 16000 joystick, i will try to unplug X55 joystick / HOTAS and Trackir 5, uninstall and reinstall the Bf 109

Well take a good look at your camera display, the view where it shows your TIR headset. You should only see 3 dots and no red-yellow smudges of heat or other reflected light.

 

My only other suggestion would be to disconnect your trackir from your computer and see if that helps. Uninstalling and reinstalling your trackir software might help, sometimes TIR likes to hang on exit. You may think its not running but it very well could be. Running it as administrator? If that alone doesnt help, then start unplugging hardware peripherals until you have the solution. Since DCS is now hot pluggable, you can go in game and do this without restarting DCS all of the time. Just dont do that with the TIR. Save that piece of hardware checking for last.

Okay, i unplugged Trackir, removed the folder from Config / input / Bf 109, started the game; the same issue

I tried with the Thrustmastrer 16000 as well, same thing

One more thing : i did different joystick moves ( with X55 joystick and with the Thrustmaster 16000 ) faster and slower, and when I move the joystick right / left, but pretty fast, the aircraft starts to shake / vibrate

Okay, let's say my joysticks are damaged, right? But with every other aircrafts or flight sims i have, i do not have this issue

If this is a DCS Bf 109 bug, how comes, other people don't have this annoying problem?

I'm really out of ideas

Open up your windows settings / set up usb game controllers and check for sticking buttons. You might have a key bind that is conflicting with another in-game too.

 

Last ditch effort is to delete all of your view commands in cockpit from every controller you have attached. Shouldnt be much of a problem unless you have custom snapviews made.

No, those shouldnt conflict, but make sure you are making changes to the right one.

I didn't see any issues, but now i purchased F5E Tiger ll and i have exactly the same problem.

It could be some hardware ( trackir, joystick, HOTAS ) or even software, but it's hard to know exactly where the issues comes from

And why doesn't this happen with all the DCS aircrafts, if the issue comes from the joystick, trackir, hotas?
