Nero.ger Posted March 11, 2018 Share Posted March 11, 2018 The poor AWACs on the red side cannot keep up with all of the "bogey dope" requests.:joystick: an alternative would be more than one awacs on a different Frequency so you can switch 'controlling' the Ka50 feels like a discussion with the Autopilot and trim system about the flight direction. In addidtion to that there is a Red convoy of fuel trucks somewhere in the valies on its way back to Beslan. The Blue forces are striking again and the Red forces are back in their intercepting MiG's. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- MiG-21's: At bullseye is our eastern EWR station. At MN02 is our western EWR station. Patrol the area and make the enemy regret any strike missions. We have a convoy of over 20 fuel trucks either in the vally of Vladikavkaz (15 km east of bullseye) or the valley of Alagir (35 km west of bullseye - image 3) on their way back to Beslan. The exact location will remain classified until there is a threat nearby so keep a sharp eye on those radio messages. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- AWACS: 124 MHz, channel 0. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Blue: Fighters: Escort strikers on their way to the target areas. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Strikers: Note: Unknown threats at the target areas! - Waypoint 1 is bullseye; the enemy's eastern EWR station (image 1). Destory all buildings and vehicles. - Somewheres at MN02 is their western EWR station (image 2). Destroy all buildings and vehicles. - A convoy of Red fuel trucks is either in the vally of Vladikavkaz (9 miles east of bullseye) or the valley of Alagir (21 miles west of bullseye - image 3) on its way back to Beslan. Search for it and destroy it. How to know which target area (TA) is closed: Once a TA is finished a Blue M4 infantry unit will spawn 8 miles north of Tibilisi. You might run into issues with the actial missle/damagemodel situation 'controlling' the Ka50 feels like a discussion with the Autopilot and trim system about the flight direction. You might run into issues with the actial missle/damagemodel situation actually coming from viggen and thinking about buying one just because the module promises to be good and i think of interesting usage with a couple of my friends. the other thing was i would have a plane on the red side of the server which might be handy if red is outnumbered does one stand any chances in dogfight situations? Nero.ger Posted March 30, 2018 Share Posted March 30, 2018 does one stand any chances in dogfight situations? yes, your biggest asset is a small IR signature and that you are hard to spot, anything above 50m and you are doing it wrong. the Gun is more or less the same as in the Mig21 and you can outturn anything but the Sabre (dont know about the Av8) 'controlling' the Ka50 feels like a discussion with the Autopilot and trim system about the flight direction. At the time you posted this I believe the server was up. make sure you are running DCS 2.5 Also try restarting DCS if you can't find it in the list.
