F-15C Baz for Flaming Cliffs 3

So I was just wondering, since we have 3 different Mig-29 variants, namely A,G and S, and the G variant is specifically for Germany. Also all three Mig-29s are basically the same exact model (although I do know about the new Mig-29 models, however the Mig-29G is basically a Mig-29A with a German cockpit)

 

Why not do the same thing with the F-15C for Flaming Cliffs? It's basically the same F-15C that we need to simply rename as Baz instead of Eagle and keep it specific to Israel. And for this model, we can give it Air to ground capabilities and Python 3/4 and possibly Derby missiles too?

 

Also since the Israeli F-15s were given the upgrade of having conformal fuel tanks which had the ability to house other things instead of just fuel as shown here.......

 

 

 

 

What do you guys think?? :music_whistling: I think it's a great idea for Flamming Cliffs 3, plus it might even shoot up the F-15's credibility in other's eyes too?

Those other mods do not exist for CFT's (except for that prototype set for the Silent Eagle). All fuel.

I think mostly ED since it's their aircraft. And only a simply FC3 lever plane, nothing fancy

There's only so much a modding team can do,

 

As it would require 3D External Model changes, as well as cockpit system changes, which are compiled into a DLL, so not editable.

Tanks are Easy, You just have to assign the tank itself to the Pylon that is Fuel Capable.

Ok, but how about taking the same F-15C and simply renaming it and leave the CFTs, but let this one have A-G and Python/Derby weapons capability? Just like the Mig-29G is the Mig-29A?

What A2G Weapons do you want? because you'd have to code the systems to use them if they aren't already in the compiled cockpit DLL.

Basically the ones that the Israeli F-15C Baz carries. Spice bombs, and GBUs etc. Like the ones here......

 

 

Don't get me wrong please, not saying it should be done in an instant, it's just a suggestion that I would love to see as a reality.

Spice would be a lot of work I assume, also I doubt Baz can really use it if it didn't get some updates to support that weapon. LGBs, and dumb bombs would probably be easier. JDAMs would probably be preplanned only, targeting a waypoint. Even if we assume real Baz can retarget them byventering coordinates, FC3 doesn't really model an INS system to do that.

 

Derby would be a bit superfluous as there is AIM-120 already.

 

Real question is, why? Razbam already have F-15E lined up once ED do air-ground radar. And to make F-15 credible?! Have you even seen multiplayer servers where it's often basically an Eagle fest? :D

 

I agree though, it would be nice to have.

Not really sure how that would work out, but if the F-15A it's going to be, then lets make it the Israeli F-15A which went into combat against Syrian Migs for the first time since that had the Python
