Morpheus Posted December 26, 2017 Posted December 26, 2017 You have just to copy the folder "Liveries Import" with the file "entry.lua" you create in ....\Saved Games\DCS (openalpha/beta)\Mods\aircraft :smilewink:
Rudel_chw Posted December 26, 2017 Posted December 26, 2017 I understod everything until I got to step 5. I can't find any "Mods" folder. You should just create it using windows file explorer, the resulting path should be something like this: \username\saved games\dcs{suffix}\Mods inside it then create an "aircraft" folder, and inside that one create the folder "Liveries Import" However, the step by step instructions that you are trying to follow are from sept/2016 ... currently, its better to use the hard link method that Uboat explained here (on section 2.Liveries): https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=190778 Best regards For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
Morpheus Posted December 26, 2017 Posted December 26, 2017 Hmm forget creation of Mods\aircraft in Saved Games well done Rudel

deltatango Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 Any chance we could get obsolete "how-to's" like this hidden? Just spent far too much time trying to make this work, even though it did seem to have been updated at some point... Cheers, DT Junior Member for over 6 years. This is a thread from 5 years ago .. that alone should be a pretty good sign that the information it contains might be obsolete The Forum doesn't have a facility to hide threads, so a Moderator deleting the thread would be the only option, but I don't like that option as I prefer not to lose posts, even if obsolete. SkateZilla Posted October 7, 2023 Author Posted October 7, 2023 How is it obsolete? there's still plenty of users that run both Stable and Open Beta, I myself run at least 8 installs, and localize all my liveries to a single smaller 512 GB SSD for all of those installs.
