ED will implement a Gift system, but I do not have a time frame for this currently.

Highly unfortunate.

 

No more purchases from me until trading comes back. Not that ED will be releasing anything soon anyways. Seems they like to screw customers over by taking away privileges, accepting preorder money and not delivering on products for years after their announcements. I've decided to refund 3 purchases I've made through steam until this issue is tended to. As the title says, this is quite unfortunate.

 

Perhaps you people should be working on modules instead of messing about with your customers property, you might actually get something out on time. ^^

ED had to close key transferring down due to EULA violators but they plan to implement a Gift system in the future ( no time frame yet )

 

Have a read of the terms and conditions and EULA.

 

As for your other comments, Development takes time, if you don't like to wait, take a break.

 

We have had a steady release of new modules this year, and more to come. You are obviously posting angry, I would advise a read of the forum rules before posting again.

DCS modules are built up to a spec, not down to a schedule.

 

In order to utilize a system to your advantage, you must know how it works.

As that left me wonder after all buzz was gone.

users can still bind keys purchased from legitimate sources, like steam with the licence check system.

 

I do not have more information to share about the new gift system.

 

When ED are ready they will let us all know

I don't have the information to comment more, but it seems some people have been taking advantage of ED's system, hence the change.

Both the binding system and Paypal were being exploited and unfortunately had to be suspended for now. As said, they are looking at doing a gifting system in the future.

That confirms my point, this restriction is due to key reselling websites... so now everyone is limited :cry:

Guess it was just easier to lockdown everyone than tracking those specific websites...

I thought it might all be my fault, I bought a couple of modules with PayPal and gifted them via the license bind thing the day before they stopped it. I promise I wasn't doing anything wrong.:music_whistling:

You could try pushing the cash through the internet pipes, or perhaps ask a friend or family member if you could use their card.
