Hi Guys and Girls,

 

i have just updated to 1.5.5 and now if i create a mission, launch instant action it crashes at the load screen.

 

has anyone else got this problem?

I had a similar problem a while ago. Judging from the limited information at least...

I hope this helps. Combined Arms had to be un- and subsequently reinstalled to fix the crash during the load screen.

Hi!

To me the same thing happens to me but in my instalation the load screen loading indefiblity and I have to close the application from the task manager.

Please help.

Im not sure there's a new TacView for 1.5.5 Version Specifically

 

But it might just need uninstalled then re-installed to fix any files the updater removed.

I do not have Tacview installed. I've tried it using the command lines DCS_Updater.exe, repair / update and updating nvidia drivers and everything remains the same. :(

im going to take this op to reinstall dcs just to be sure, at least i can start afresh :)

 

Was about to do the same after updating release version to 1.55 and subsequently the game kept hanging...nothing would load and no connection to game server.

Renamed the users/saved games/dcs folder and let the game create a new one.

Voila...back in business.

Just dropped back in my logbook and inputs and were all good again:pilotfly:

Has to be. The Gazelle doesn't work in the Open Beta, it works in the release version. So there must be some sort of difference there alone.:smilewink:

If You Disabled the TF-51 Module, Revert BACK to 1.5.4 re-enable the Module, then Re-Update.

 

In the Future Do NOT disable the TF-51 Module as it is part of the Core DCSWorld Files.

 

Disabling it wont save you any file space.

Just as a short Information for guys with crash problems in the 1.55 version.

 

I'm aware that only vanilla installs are supported but I solved my recent crashes when loading DCS by disabling the sound mod compilation from diveplane which seems to be not working with 1.55 anymore.

 

I use JSGME and updated with all mods disabled. After some experiments I nailed it down to the soundmod. So maybe worth looking if you guys are using any mods...
