klem Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Just so that I am clear: 1. Will early release be useable in 1.5.5 or will I need DCS 1.5 openbeta? 2. Will the pre-release discount price be available after early release? If so, until when? klem 56 RAF 'Firebirds' ASUS ROG Strix Z390-F mobo, i7 8086A @ 5.0 GHz with Corsair H115i watercooling, Gigabyte 2080Ti GAMING OC 11Gb GPU , 32Gb DDR4 RAM, 500Gb and 256Gb SSD SATA III 6Gb/s + 2TB , Pimax 8k Plus VR, TM Warthog Throttle, TM F18 Grip on Virpil WarBRD base, Windows 10 Home 64bit

NeilWillis Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Exactly, we are leaping to some pretty rash conclusions. The pre-release discount ends on the 16th, we do know that, and we know that the release is imminent, but I wouldn't get too excited about an exact release date until it has been confirmed - and it still hasn't been yet. If the module is completed to their satisfaction, we MAY get a release on the 16th. However, what if there are still some unknown bugs that are proving a little intransigent? We can hope everything has gone according to plan, and we can assume the intended release date may well be the 16th, but anything more is just wishful thinking at this stage. Just keep your fingers crossed, and listen for Santa's sleigh bells on Friday morning.
Pikey Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Nooooo, Neil, if you say that and people don't get Santa arriving then thousands of people might stop believing in Santa! (then possibly grow up, but thats another story) :D ___________________________________________________________________________ SIMPLE SCENERY SAVING * SIMPLE GROUP SAVING * SIMPLE STATIC SAVING *

Will the pre-release discount price be available after early release? If so, until when? 1. It will probably be usable in the Release, Beta and Alpha versions of DCS, although not necessarily at the same time, but within a few weeks difference at the latest. At least that was the case for all previous modules. 2. It says it ends on the 16th. REDEYE_CVW-66 Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Some information would indeed be nice as we are getting close to said date. If I need another version, it would be nice to know before the release. Strangely quiet methinks..
Cibit Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Its a new module, you all know when a new module is released we get a patch to incorporate the new module or the new campaign.
