New DCS Mig23 and Mig-19 Project

no, this was not the first attempt for an mig-23. . .maybe it has something to do with the devil.

 

this is very very sad. this was my favourite plan. . . and this is no joke: i would be it 23 times if somebody is bringing this module out!

What does this mean though? You can't tell us not to read more into a project a huge portion of the community was hype for.

 

Why can't ED come out and explain why this project was not available?

 

First, an FC3 tier mod gets cancelled out of no where, and now an actual module is cancelled days after it was announced.

 

I want an official response from ED as to why these things happen. I think we are owed some sort of explanation.

 

If its Putin him self saying "no modern Russian jets" then we should know this. People get hyped and then have their dreams crushed by the most vague and unspecific reasons.

 

Its simple too early to go into it. I know its tough not knowing, but you just have to be patient. The MiG-19 sounds like it is still possible, so discuss that.

They didn’t shut the door or cancel anything; this endeavour never had a license agreement. It had been under consideration, but it was deiced that the product would not receive a license for multiple reasons. It was quite premature to advertise this as a module coming to DCS with no license agreement.
