I hope we will get at least half a dozen official skins, and ED won't leave it to community skinners. Not thaat I have a problem with community skinners - being one of them myself - it's just that it would be nice to be able to use then in missions so that everybody has them installed.

Could we have a Luftwaffe skin, kg100 used them to help pilots sort out attack profiles.

Now we have the Mossie....I'd like to attack something bigger...Like a Condor....but needs must

There’s something more sinister looking about the black night bomber schemes - especially for the B-17, as the green or bare metal USAAF schemes are so iconic…

The 214 Sqn / 100 Group Fortresses were heavily modified at Prestwick following the ferry flights from the US.
Chin and ball turrets were removed and H2S radar and other RCM kit was fitted.  
 

Seems like the Fortress was preferred for these special missions as they could fly much higher than the RAF heavies (ie needed to loiter over the targets / main force / night fighters) and also the short but tall bomb bay was a better fit for adding specialist EW kit - these really were the first Ravens

Of course, in DCS any B-17 skin would need to be a standard B-17G model - but would still be great to have a four-engined RAF Bomber Command aircraft in our virtual skies

I am Planning to do some more B-17 Skins soon, in the meantime I have found a Quick  and Easy fix for the terrible in Game Specularity on Bare Metal for   the B-17.

I am looking for a post WWII aluminum skin, preferably with Air Force markings. This is so the Fortress can stand in for the B-29 in Korean War era missions. Has anyone seen something like this?
