Due to over-G? Viggens structural design limit was 12 G. With such a large wing area a huge amount of lift is available. Pulling too much G in the machine is easily achievable. Real AJS-pilots were not allowed to exceed 6 G's. 7 G for the JA 37 as it had strengthened wing/fuselage. :)

Are you treating her nicely? How fast are you on the control imputs, you have to be gentle with a bird like this as robban75 described, be easy on the stick and don't over-G her, if you could get us a track of your wings falling off that'd be greatly appreciated, and alternatively you can watch yourself in the F2 view and look for the G-indication in the bottom bar at the moment your wings snap off.

Safe flying!!

When half of the wing fell off I actually thought there's something wrong with my joystick, until I landed and saw what really happened. :D

So the pilot gets virtual shivering and the Viggen gets virtual leprosy...? :P

Oh thank god :P

Yes, good! I'm breaking my wings all the time now, sometimes it's justified of course, but they also seem to snap very often even when I don't think I'm doing anything too crazy.
