Ummm.. I have a problem here. I haven't had installed the Weapons pack so far and I did it quiet unseccessfuly. I don't have Loman installed and I manualy copied the files into the LO folder keeping the folder structure. The result is that my missiles now don't have any textures. Questions:

What is this WW_updatecfg.exe application for? Is it an unpdater like the plane mod? When I double-click it it says "Invalid or no arguments specified".

Where can I get the new fuel tank, 3D model and texture?

you can find the thread called F-15 CFT in the 3d model section on this forum or visit lockonfiles.com and get it from there. Install it with modman.

On the ball Walmis! Everything works Ok now. Is this the normal way to install the weapons mod? May be you should mention this in the Readme, just a suggestion;)

I didn't notice it yesterday after installing the weapons mod, but noticed it now after installing Tatti's fuel tanks:

Except the AIM-9s and the centerline fuel tank all other loads are off the line. I read back in the thread and saw other people that had the same bug, didn't find a solution. Anyone?

Thanks for always being there walmis. Everything is OK now. As for the MEinit.xml- well, I haven't modified it myself, actualy the only mod I had installed before yours was a Bulgarian MiG-29 skin which was, like yours, a self-extracting file so I don't know whether it contained the MEinit.xml file.

Walmis, please advise

I've been having some of the same troubles as a few others with the missing textures but when I try what fixed it for them, it doesnt fix mine.

I did have a message "error while updating meint.xml" durring the initial install but the updates seemed to access meint.xml ok with no errors.

My meint is modded pretty well and I suspect that is the problem. Is there a common problem I can check in the Meint that causes this, or is it just a matter of re-installing again?

Here are a couple of screens. Notice the pilot, white textures, and all missile positions.

Really looking forward to seeing the inside of the exhaust nozzles.

Thanks for your help

I know you dont have the time to fix everyones Meint file. Can you post just the meint.xml that comes with your lastest version of the F-15.

I think i can use a merge program to compare and locate the differences.

Thanks

walmis, first of all you did a great job on this model, i really love to fly it.

i served in the IAF as an F-4 Technician.also squadron "Edge of the spear"

positioned in our base.

i can see a numerous non accuracy on the skin you made.

if you want me to pin point you to those mistakes, just give me a sign.

i'll be glad to help you.

by the way, is there a possibility to model on your new F-15 model the plane body CFT?

First welcome to the forum

but if you are just talking about the skin alone, walmis didn't make it, ICE did who posted those pics. Walmis is responsible for the 3d model.

Bump:) May be this thread deserves to get "sticky" finally...

@ICE

very cool screenshots dude

btw, when you said update, are you referring to the skin or the model. If its the model, could you ask walmis to make one small addition to the update and that's to add the little round attenna that sits on top of the F-15 nose? I direct this at you too since you might want to add that to your skin. Another thing i want to request about your skin is if you could add the some words found around the real F-15 like the "no step" sign on the wing...etc.

P.S. I'm really looking forward if someone made the west coast demo team skin like the pic above.

To me the areas just ahead of the nozzle's (gold and silver areas) look far too perfect. I know you're trying to emulate the shine of the actual part but right now they stick out like a sore thumb and could use some weathering or something.
