Read me file has instructions for putting the mod in the DCS World application directory instead of Saved Games. Any way we can get this to conform to the Saved Games method?

Dear FixieRider. The texture part of the mod can be installed in Saved Games, but there're some files you have to install in app. directory. That's why I packaged all of them for app. directory.

 

Anyway. You can split the mod of course.

Does the mod still work with 1.5.8, or is it now only for 2.x? I am still on 1.5.8. and not able to use it. Even with your quick solution there is no menue to change cockpit liveries.

Another quick solution:

 

After installed the mod properly;

 

Go to: "C:\Users\{your-user-name}\Saved Games\DCS.xxx\Config\" folder.

 

Open: options.lua

 

Find: ["plugins"] line

 

Find: ["AJS37"] = {

["CPLocalList"] = "default", line.

 

Change: default to English by Devrim

 

The mod will work again.

 

You may not still see the menu in SPECIAL tab but the mod will work in-game!

Dear Devrim,

 

i used JGSME to install the mod as before. Then i checked if all data landed in the right folders. After that i modified the options.lua.

And then i found the issue: the names do not match.

The new installed folder is named "english" and not "English by Devrim".

 

After changing the name of the folder to "English by Devrim" your mod decorates the Viggens pit again. :thumbup: :pilotfly:

I noticed a small problem with this MOD. The images you saved for the main instrument panel are blurry and not as sharp. This is not a knock on your work, as your work is a master piece, just letting you know if you could resave those images differently it would be perfection.

 

Print screening both cockpits and comparing shows you the difference very well.

Not being picky, just when you zoom out, you can't read the fonts. How did you save it from Photoshop?

Hi Devrim. I'm looking forward to using the Viggen English cockpit mod but am not having success installing. Is there a readme instruction file that I'm missing?

 

 

 

Currently I copied your AJS37 folder to to c:>users>myname>saved games>dcs>mods>aircraft>AJS37 and have your three folders - cockpits, liveries and textures in there. Is that correct?

Hi Devrim,

I'm working on a french translation of the cockpit.

But I have a problem with the swith label, my french label is on the defaut label.

I don't understand why because i'had removed it. It work fine with the gauge, annonciator panel and things like the oxygen lever.
