RVV-AE (AA-12 Adder) beyond visual range missiles and PGMs., new nosecone, , Sextant's TOTEM RLG-INS with NSS-100P GPS embedded GPS receivers, El-Op HUD, infrared search and track system (IRST) from Russia's

URALs optical-mechanical plant, two Sextant MFD-55 LCD displays, autopilot,

radar warning receivers (RWR), digital flight data recorder, new liquid

air cooling system, HOTAS controls, stores management system, digital air

data computer system, short range radio navigation system, new HF/VHF/UHF

radios, twin conformal Vympel flare dispensers (26mm, 120 rounds) and a new

electric power supply system. Reportedly the new RWR to be fitted, is an

indigenous system developed by DRDO and goes by the name Tarang. A modified

version of this RWR will be used aboard the Su-30MKI.

Do you mind if I ask what method of modeling you're using? I'm intrigued to find out how someone else approaches the task of creating a complex one piece mesh. I'm guessing meshmooth, or patches maybe?

Yes m8.

 

I usually use lofting and rail sweeps part nurbs then finish off mesh edit.

 

In this particular Mig, for speed, I am using edit poly with mesh smooth.

Thank You SK! So Georgian Air Forces must have MiGs 21 fighters if UMs the trainers are there. But what version does they use? I've found this site - really poor IMHO:

HEY.....ALLOCHTOON's here. :D Hey dude. You stirred up a lot of lomac pilots including myself. I am happy to use your "WORK" to be able to convince ED to give us a chance and integrate the mig into the game. Strikemax is now remaking the model. Last update he showed a new tail fin. :) ....Hope its going well. :) . The russian jet master skinner F L A N K E R is also here and interested in this project. Hope we can all get this thing rolling to ED with atleast one skin so that we can add more later once its integrated into BS.

We need opinion from the top. It's hard to judge from this screen StrikeMax. Could you change model colour or lighting 'cause shadows hide the shapes of cones.

Nice work Strikemax, modeling the whole fuselage out of one piece will greatly contribute to a beautiful model. Hehe i recognize those blueprints. Did i include all the pictures i have of the mig21 on my server, will look into that.
