jozeff Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Hello everyone, Newbie here.... I'm trying to fly the Huey in DCS2 Nevada and 1.5 Caucasus and the Oculus Rift is amazing! I read some threads about zooming in VR. Have been searching for key/joystick combinations and I cannot zoom in VR, whatever I try. People have been talking about the UI layer in DCS and a "ZOOM VR" function but I dont see it. Only options there are chat/show hide and 3 multiplayer options but nothing about zooming. Would really appreciate some tips/hints where to find this option! Thank you very much, Jozeff The Netherlands
Scooternutz Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Not sure what you are asking but I use the Cockpit View controls. Move UP, Down, Back, and Forward. Hope this helps. [sIGPIC]https://drive.google.com/file/d/16rUBmmJR7A3YGZVGPGskxG1XtvulGojJ/view?usp=sharing[/sIGPIC]
dburne Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 In the UI layer - it is the very last two items shown - category is VR. Click on the drop down box where you pick the module , scroll all the way down past the module names to UI layer. Normaly I know my way around software but I'm clearly missing something here. Tnx! Jozeff

Los Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 It seems a new thread is started on this very subject every few days.
jozeff Posted March 9, 2017 Author Posted March 9, 2017 Well you are right. That's why I mentioned newbie in my questions. There seem to be more Zoom topics indeed
fitness88 Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 Well you are right. That's why I mentioned newbie in my questions. There seem to be more Zoom topics indeed Interesting, I installed the on/off mod for the VR zoom and for the whole day I wasn't able to see those same commands as you. I did a lot of lua checking to make sure I didn't mix up any of the files and I didn't, but some how on their own all the commands came back late tonight. I wish I could tell you what I did...
