OK. I get it for the landing max weight and landing AoA at 14 degrees will give you the correct approach speed.

 

But what about takeoff performance? Do you always rotate at 120 kts? even at Max TOGW at the highest airport in Nevada?

No, your rotation speed will most definitely vary based on takeoff weight. Ideally there would be a conversion chart published, but I haven't been able to find one.

 

My recommendations? Rotate at 120 if you have A2A armament and a single drop tank. If you have a drop tank and a full load of bombs, around 130-135 would be better.

 

If you have two drop tanks and A2A armament? I've struggled to get off the ground rotating at 145-150.

 

Do a test run, even at sea level on Caucasus. Try taking off with two full drop tanks and let me know what happens when you rotate at 120 xD you'll quickly find yourself dropping back towards the ground a few hundred meters after takeoff, even with full burner.

Yep, we've done a screening of a current version and there is quite a lot to add. As for the charts we need to first have the FM updated (which is also happening as we speak) and then have charts reflecting it added to the manual. Cheers!

As for myself, as I said no chart available sorry. With VampireNZ's indication that curve should be straight, with 2 weights (empty+A/A) and two speeds, I guess something could be done.

I can also provide a 3rd datapoint: 150kt for 2x Fox 2s + 4x Mk-82s + 2x wing tanks.

I haven't the weight available now.

It isn't necessarily that wrong.

MTOW is calculated with a given vertical speed at touch down and to not wear out the airframe prematurely.

 

Depending on how you land (smooooooothly), you may not damage the plane.

I have in memory a B737 close to MTOW which had to turn back for medical emergency. No fuel dump.

After checking, the plane was still air worthy.
