Simicro Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 Hi, When 2.0 will be released officially, I am wondering what the numerous campaigns built for 1.5 will become? I imagine that campaign developers will need to make some adjustments if they want their DLC work properly with the new Caucasus? - Tony - . Grimes Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 It is hard to say for sure because stuff like AI behavior should be the same. However there is a sizable risk of a many relatively small changes effecting things. Stuff like terrain differences, slight changes to road networks, and building and tree placement. I imagine people are going to have to give their missions a look over to verify if anything needs changed. Unfortunately its not something that can be automated. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. tintifaxl Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 Very important for all dlc campaigns and campaigns included with the modules. I would expect them to work out of the box when 2.5 is released on the production branch - or pulled from the store. Windows 10 64bit, Intel i9-9900@5Ghz, 32 Gig RAM, MSI RTX 3080 TI, 2 TB SSD, 43" 2160p@1440p monitor.

ED Team NineLine Posted July 18, 2017 ED Team Posted July 18, 2017 Very important for all dlc campaigns and campaigns included with the modules. I would expect them to work out of the box when 2.5 is released on the production branch - or pulled from the store. I am sure the creators and Testers will check them out to the best of everyones ability and try and work out as many if not all issues with them before it hits the release branch... feefifofum Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 WRT 3rd party DLCs, I will mention that we (or at least Baltic Dragon and I) do not have access to ED's development build, so expect some adjustment period from folks like us. We'll all be seeing 2.5 together for the first time! I'd love it if things were good to go out-of-the-box, as you put it, but there may be some tweaks required as Sith mentions. :) THE GEORGIAN WAR - OFFICIAL F-15C DLC

I am sure ED is aware. Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
feefifofum Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 That would be great! THE GEORGIAN WAR - OFFICIAL F-15C DLC
baltic_dragon Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 Yeah that would be great. And rest assured we will go over the campaigns and make sure that everything works properly (perhaps even tweaking them here and there as we're at it) :) For more information, please visit my website.
