I cant play any campaign. All AI units fly at stall speeds and its impossible to keep up with them (they stall at lower speeds).

 

 

1.5 is unplayable right now.

Learn how to AI is flying and it won't be unplayable. And for a start decrease the skill level.

Same here. Noticed that yesterday. Accompanied a C130 with my L-39 and my KI Wingman. Both were flying at low speed and were stalling, although waypoints were set with higher speed and altitutes.

They use SFM, you can't get realistic stalls from them right now...

 

That and they fly perfectly, which is more difficult for a human.

This bug also exists in 2.1 and was reported there, haven't seen confirmation of a bug report for 1.5 yet - do we know it will be addressed in both versions? Pretty crucial for the stock M-2000C campaign, but also for many others I imagine. Thanks!

Same problem here with 1.5.7 version, all AI aircraft, and just after take/off, do a first step at low ALT and low speed before they follow their flightplan. If I play the same mission in single player mode I don't have this problem !!

If you want confirmation and have 1.5.7 connect to havoc company training server

pick a fast jet and fly to bullseye, you should see some jets spawn nearly all of them bar one will be at stall speed (one seems to fly at good speed while the rest do not)

Its a known bug in 1.5 and 2.1. When it gets marked as fixed it'll be checked in both versions whenever we get told that the fix for it was merged to either version.

I rolled back to 1.5.6 and the AI works fine, so its a matter of the last update.

I "think" I have a workaround for this problem.

 

When you edit the initial speed of the airplane (so at node 0), and put a high value, I have observed the planes to fly faster.
