I do not like to wear VR headset while creating missions adjusting loadout and calculating routes. It would be very nice if there would be an option to use VR only during the flight.

Hell I would be happy if you could just activate the mouse in the f10 map and the mission builder.

What do you mean by this? There is an option to enable mouse in the vr-view, so the mouse pointer is not only moved by head movement, but instead with the mouse in vr. This also works in the F10-map and the mission editor. I guess it's in the VR submenu. I'm not at the PC, so I can't check from here, sorry. I does work, as I am using it this way (with mouse movable mouse pointer) all the time.

Yes but when I fly I want the mouse turned off so I can click what I look at. But when I go to the f10 I would like the mouse to turn on so I can read coordinates in vr. There is no way to change it in mission

Perhaps a command line flag so we can create 2 icons?

You mean like:

DCS.exe --force_enable_VR

DCS.exe --force_disable_VR
