RAM and VR - Advice please

Hi, I run an i7 4790K with 16gb Ram and I use a Rift CV1. I use DCS 2.1 almost exclusively. The question is are there any benefits in increasing my RAM to say 32gb?

 

I will be upgrading my MB and processor at some point, but not for a few months. With my upgrade I would probably go for 32gb.

I'm running with 16GB just fine. (see my specs in my sig). Save your coin for a newer rig in the next year or two. :-)

I agree, I am running a similar system in VR and have 16 gb of ram, don't plan on spending any money on more ram for this build.

I will likely be doing a new build later on sometime in 2018 anyway.

See my rig in my signature below...I don't see a need for > than the 16GB of RAM I currently have.

 

Like Dburne, I will likely do a new build in late 2018 as well...even then, I am unsure if I will go above 16GB of RAM.
