Mr_Burns Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 I can give you some of the best cockpit photos I have come across but it's also a quiet forum with a passion for hornets. You need to join, it's free: http://hornetpits.org/index.php?topic=629.0
Texac Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 They aren't the best and are basic, viewed from the side only which you may have already found but just in case. But maybe you'll find better results whit searching for the information that is stated below the aircraft on the first two images. - My Skins/Liveries - Improved F-16C Texture Template • Texac on YouTube •

mig29movt Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 On the back it's "USS Harry S. Truman" The one on the front is really difficult, I've searched for VFA-83 and found this: I'd say it's "CAPT. Boris Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 (edited) Pilot of the livery with the all blue stabilizers is Capt Norbert Szarleta CAG. Judging by the length of the name on the back, my guess it's the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. VFA-83 was stationed on that ship a few times. The second one is flown by Capt 'Beavis' Bixby DCAG, USS Harry S. Truman. Boris Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 I'd swear it says, "Capt. BEAVIS." 2nd aircraft, yes, it does. That's the pilot's callsign. Here's an F/A-18F with the same name: PC Specs / Hardware: MSI z370 Gaming Plus Mainboard, Intel 8700k @ 5GHz, MSI Sea Hawk 2080 Ti @ 2100MHz, 32GB 3200 MHz DDR4 RAM Displays: Philips BDM4065UC 60Hz 4K UHD Screen, Pimax 8KX Controllers / Peripherals: VPC MongoosT-50, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, modded MS FFB2/CH Combatstick, MFG Crosswind Pedals, Gametrix JetSeat OS: Windows 10 Home Creator's Update

Emmy Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 Hi the emblem on the tank is the Death Rattlers snake, you can see it on this (ugly) image I couldn't find a better pic with the emblem itself... Kinda tacky to call this ugly. It's a characature and it intentionally distorts the lines. The artist is a friend of mine and he's very, very good at aviation art. He does these for fun and on request from the squadrons / pilots and actually sells a great many prints. GeorgeLKMT Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 (edited) The names definitely change over time and unfortunately, both sides will usually have a different one. If you're trying to be 100% correct, it might be quite of a pain in the ass. There are names on the front ldg door too by the way ;) Here's a photo from 2008 with LTCOL R. C. FRIEDMAN "BOO" on the port side. After some googling, the photo you posted should read MAJ GEN T. L. CONANT ?? MAW, not sure about what's there in front of MAW. CO? FO? Usually, you can google these names or abbreviations to figure out the corrent spelling. This photo from 2010 has COL K. J. KILLEA with the rest kinda hard to read. It's also 400, not 200. In case I find something concrete, I'll post it here. Edited January 24, 2018 by GeorgeLKMT 1 ■ L-39C/ZA Czech cockpit mod ■ My DCS skins ■
