ChuckIV Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 (edited) Green Cockpit Glass I just loaded the latest version 2.2, and I notice that in the Spitfire all the glass looks like green squares (plaid looking). I reinstalled the Spitfire module and the same thing happens. See my attached picture. Anyone else have this problem? ChuckIV Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Found out that my cockpit mod somehow is the culprit. I will have to make a new one from the new default cockpit textures in 2.2 The mirror does reflect the opposite way it should - confirmed. streakeagle Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 The mirror's image isn't "mirrored" like it should be. Sit on the runway. Push your left rudder pedal. Look in the mirror to see which way the rudder moves. Repeat the same from an external view. All that needs to happen to fix this is to flip the mirror image in the horizontal. If ED is aware of this bug, why hasn't it been fixed already? Unlike many flight simmers, I rely on my mirrors. Even moreso in VR where physically turning my head around takes a lot more work than using TrackIR. In a close quarters, multi-bogey fight, I can maintain better SA by seeing other aircraft crossing through my mirror while I am engaging another aircraft. I can also usually pick up a bandit trailing me before before he can achieve a firing solution, giving me the option to go defensive... or with the Spitfire's maneuverability, force an overshoot. If only the resolution in VR was as good as a 2D monitor so I could easily identify what type of aircraft is passing by and eventually flying across my mirror. It is hard enough to do so in 1080p. In VR, I am barely able to figure out the attitude of the aircraft, much less its type and/or nationality. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

AleCisla Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Hey guys! I just had a similar problem with Spitfire.. mirror was showing my F-15 pilot in it.. lol with background and everything else. Dev's of the Spitfire: PLEASE FIX THIS PLANE! .. also I noticed that I'm getting some kind of stutter when I'm flying the Spitfire...and it doesn't happen with other planes... as much as I love this plane, I've been thinking now if it was worth spending £40 pounds on it :( Really hope they fix these things soon..
