Remember that this would also require making the AI aware of possible damage and how to work with/around it. well! how bout the first 2 things I asked....that wouldn't need too much of an AI change...basically make it use smoke asa weapons....throw smoke basicaly when the vehicles recognise a threat....and damage model may still be the single <FUNCTIONAL .. EvilBivol-1 Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 As a rule of thumb, it's a good idea to start with the assumption that there is no such thing as a 'simple fix'. Changing smoke to anything more than a purely graphical effect would require making into a calculated object to be recognized, analyzed and reacted to by the AI. There is nothing simple about any of that, at least not in the Lock On engine. Having said that, I don't believe ED has made any final announcements about the possibility of adding this feature. Poopskadoop Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 I think we've seen the BMP-3 before, but that Leclerc is a nice addition. The more variety we have, the better. And think of it this way: They could very well not have posted new screens, and then no one would be complaining about all these armor shots. It never hurts to have more screen shots.
