What does 51 represent? It usually starts when I turn on my radar and it starts counting backwards from 200. At first I thought that it represented the range, but as you can see in the screenshot the actual distance from the target is much smaller. Then I thought that it's time until missile reaches target, but nooo, it ocasionally starts counting from a higher figure when it reaches say 50. :book:

No idea what that is, besides, your trying to use a Kh-31A which no-way cant be employed by with human pilots in Lo-mac 1.1.

Waaaay back in the days of Flanker 2.51 the Kh-31A and Kh-31P was kaunchable by a human pilot but not anymore.

 

The only antiship missile available for a human pilot in Lo-mac is the Kh-58 on a Su-25T.

I dont think it means anything. If I ever use the Kh-41, i just wait till i'm inrange, then fire. It usually doesn't matter anyway. The enemies SAMs usually get it.

 

My point is, don't worry about it.

DCS Wishlist: 1) FIX THE DAMN RIVERS!!! 2) Spherical or cylindrical panorama view projection. 3) Enhanced input options (action upon button release, etc). 4) Aircraft flight parameter dump upon exit (stick posn, attitude, rates, accel, control volume, control-surface positions, SAS bias, etc). 5) ADS-33 maneuver courses as static objects. 6) Exposed API or exports of trim position and stick force for custom controllers. 7) Select auto multiple audio devices

Kh-58 is a anti radar missile? Yeah almost every combat ship has a radar.....but then you could also use the other anti radar missile like the Kh-25P.....

 

And the Kh-41 then...?:music_whistling:

Just a quick question. How do you lead a sucessfull attack against a ship protected by lots of SAMs, like the Ticonderoga? That is, without the Kh-41.

Fly very, very low, under 5 meters, use alt hold, pop-up, fire your rockets/bombs pray the CIWS went dead.

You also can set up a lonely Vinnie, make it hostile, and come in for a landing in your su-33, just remember that Mr Phalanx doesn't like you.
