lobo Posted June 1, 2018 Author Posted June 1, 2018 Went so high that the barometer stopped counting You're in low earth orbit!! Lobo's DCS A-10C Normal Checklist & Quick Reference Handbook current version 8D available here: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/172905/
Vinny002 Posted June 2, 2018 Posted June 2, 2018 Hi, razo+r! I think the reason the barometer stopped working at 70,000 feet is because the air at that altitude is so thin!! Cheers, Vincent
JetCat Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 After the latest updates I can bring my ultra high powered fighter jets barely up to the cruising altitude of a Boeing 747. Please dear developers bring back these almost space flights which were possible in DCS in 2018

Please dear developers bring back these almost space flights which were possible in DCS in 2018 You just need to climb properly. You can get the Tomcat to 55+ relatively easily, but then you really need to pay attention to your alpha. You will even need to dive at time then reclimb. It is certainly doable.Mobius708
