As usual ED, good job and thanks for this week'S update, two thing i was hoping for comes in, small things, but i like them, first, my wish comes tru to be able to unconnect to the Shuttle, when i miss aligned miself, i'll now be able to disconnect and reconnect. :)

But most, i was woundering if one features there was in the SuperHornet of VRS when doing carrier ops does exists in C Models, was the Cross Track Error Indicator, and this seems like it.

« Added abeam distance to course line. »

I'll then now, stop laughing at the cows. ;)

It'd be useful to know everything that's changed - it seems like the change log is missing stuff, e.g. apparently the threat circles have been reversed on the RWR, with non-lethal outside and critical inside.

Some changes maybe W.I.P which is why they may have not been added to the log.

That one's quite a big one though - you're gonna have a lot of panicked people when they take a look at their RWR for the first time and think the whole world just fired on them

Well, it's always fun to have good surprises as long s they work :) But sometimes it's not easy for the updates, as what a friend told me with it's video gaming instructy explanation, if i got it right, each department or what ever it's called, puts in their stuff in, so if someone add something to the Patch and forgot to tell about it, well, the person who makes the patch note, can't really know it all so we end up with good or bad surprises same goes around, they can tell ptch will includes this and that, but forgot to give in the pack the « That » thing, so we got it in the patch note but not the patch.... but i might had all understood wrong lol

Keeping up-to-date with Wags' "Hornet mini-updates"-thread helps:

10- RWR threat ring logic changed, critical threat inside ring.

Is the Steam version update delayed from the standalone version? I'm trying to play with my friend, but he's on Steam and I have the standalone. I received the update this morning to 19157, but he's still on the last version and can't update.

Going off this, I switched over to the stable DCS 2.5 after the previous update put the Hornet into the stable version.

According to this: http://updates.digitalcombatsimulator.com/ the new DCS update is for beta only....but the Hornet was moved to the stable version. I'm confused why today's Hornet update is going to the Beta 2.5 if we're using stable now?

New updates always goes to Beta First, last update for Stable/Released Version was to bring Stable/Released Version to the same build as Open Beta. In other words last Sable Version was to introduce Persian Gulf map and Hornet. Once they are satisfied to latest patches and updates of the Open Beta, Released Version will benefits another update.

Noticed that as well... just what I read in the NATOPS now, was everything in the inner circle before rainbowdashwink.png

I just did my first sortie and had to try out the Rockeyes... I think the aim still is a bit off, had to drop them late to make them hit a target - but at least they have been effective with 300ft burst height which made me happy alone. First time in almost a decade of DCS I don't have to drop at least 6 Mk.20s on a single target to get a kill... salute.png

I also noticed I had to drop the Snakeyes early to be successful in the past versions - guess it's still just WIP any maybe also some kind of "pilot induced interference" like being at 1.05G when dropping or such rdlaugh.png
