Tricky11 Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 Been flying the harrier tonight as usual but for some reason all of a sudden i got 4 lines across the HUD as if i had used all my weapons but i still have 4 gbus left? What have i done?
Zeus67 Posted July 7, 2018 Posted July 7, 2018 The 4 lines indicate that you have released all the weapons you wanted to. They will disappear the moment you release the pickle. Tricky11 Posted July 7, 2018 Author Posted July 7, 2018 I don't think you read my comment correctly. I had just released 1 gbu12 and still had more in stores. To get rI'd of the lines I had to prest the pickle button a second time?

To get rI'd of the lines I had to prest the pickle button a second time? This bug just presented it self today for me as well. GBU-16's and MK-20's . After releasing 3 GBU-16's, had the 4 diagonal lines across HUD Similar to when the weapon arm switch is SAFE. not sure why, I have several remaining stores of different types. Tried cycling master arm, changing stores etc. Was locked in this mode and had no release or weapon information on the HUD. Will try to see if it presents itself again.
Sarge55 Posted July 8, 2018 Posted July 8, 2018 I had the same issue last night with Mk-82's / CCIP released in pairs. I still had bombs on the racks when the //// symbol came up on the HUD. I switched from AG to NAV then back to AG to reset it. IIRC Thing is, it didn't happen every time and I'm not sure what sequence of events triggered it. I'll have to test again and try to keep track. Zeus67 Posted July 8, 2018 Posted July 8, 2018 This video shows how it works(starts at the 2:00 minute mark): Every time you release a bomb, the 4 lines appear as soon as the last bomb has been released and remain on HUD until you release the pickle. maikchaos Posted July 9, 2018 Posted July 9, 2018 (edited) I had also this Bug with MK82 in Open Beta I connected the Groundcrew for following Loadout MK82 - 2xMK82 Snakeye - 2xMK82 AIR - litening pod- Gunpod - 2xMK82 AIR - 2xMK82 Snakeye - MK82 But The Visible Loadout was MK82 - 2xMK82 Snakeye - 2xMK82 AIR - litening pod - Gunpod - 2xMK82 Snakeye - 2xMK82 Snakeye - MK82 In the strs page, the loadout was displayed as I had told it the ground crew, but in the HUD, I got //// after selection of the inner racks. I then tried the same loadout again but with 3xracks --> it worked Regards Maik PS: I know that in this configuration makes no sense to take the litening. The practice run before was with GBU's, so it was still on.MK82 bug.trk Edited July 9, 2018 by maikchaos
Tricky11 Posted July 9, 2018 Author Posted July 9, 2018 Save a track file when the problem happens and send it to me. Will do when i get a minute if i can replicate it... I did fix the problem by pressing the pickle button a second time though..
Scooternutz Posted July 10, 2018 Posted July 10, 2018 Weird how the M2000 and AV-8B has the same HUD lines sometimes when you drop all your stores. It is s RAZBAM thing? [sIGPIC]https://drive.google.com/file/d/16rUBmmJR7A3YGZVGPGskxG1XtvulGojJ/view?usp=sharing[/sIGPIC]

Koriel Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 I'll breathe some life into this thread as I believe it starts with my problem. In flight, using Chuck's latest description to drop Mk-82's everything works as advertised apart from the fact that as soon as I press the pickle button the 4 dashed lines appear again. Checked everything, Master arm on, 82's selected, a/g mode, it's all there, the line, the countdown, the drop line.. Any suggestion?
tea_cypher Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 If you are in auto mode there is a bug in the latest beta
Zeus67 Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 The 4 dashed lines indicate that the bombs have been released. They should disappear as soon as you release the pickle. Waiting for a fix and I'll use CCIP in the meantime.
edokg Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 (edited) Here a video of my problem... In CCRP, when i push Bomb Pickle to release the bomb (GBU-12 in the video), the four lines appears and no bombs are released... I'm doing something wrong? Tks. tea_cypher Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 Like i said this is a new bug with auto /ccrp, please post your experience in the bug thread as unfortunately razbam havent aknoledged it yet which is a shame as I consider it a serouse loss of capability. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=225247
chief Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 This bug was reported last year and still exists. Razbam this AV-8 on the back burner thing is getting old. Please fix and FINISH the Av-8 or maybe just start handing out refunds to the people that would like them. This is kinda getting ridiculous. Take our money and run
Captain Orso Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 The 4 dashed lines indicate that the bombs have been released. They should disappear as soon as you release the pickle. If that is the case, then there is a bug, bc when I release the pickle, the 4-slashes never disappear. I have to change to NAV to get rid of them. Maybe there are other ways, but that's what I always do. Here a video of my problem... In CCRP, when i push Bomb Pickle to release the bomb (GBU-12 in the video), the four lines appears and no bombs are released... I'm doing something wrong? Tks. You do not press the pickle, you PRESS AND HOLD the pickle until your delivery mission is complete. When you hit the wrong button on take-off System Specs. chief Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 (edited) I had 6 GBUs. I released one. Confirmed on stores page. Went to make second pass. Used tpod to hit second target. There was no pbil line. Just those 4 slanted lines. Tired everything to get rid of them. Said screw it and tried to drop one anyway. After the second bomb released then the pbil line returned. I had to waste a bomb in order to reset and fix the problem. Getting tired of always bothering the guys on the MP server asking how to do something in the Harrier to make sure I'm doing something right and the answer being "oh that's still bugged". Captain Orso Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 8< ... Tired everything to get rid of them... 8< After every bomb release, you get the 4 slashes telling you that that action is completed. To remove the 4 slashes, switch to NAV mod, even if only momentarily. Works EVERY time for me. When you hit the wrong button on take-off System Specs. ANd even if it works for you, that almost sounds like a bug that you would have to do that. I am not an expert in the Harrier by any means by sounds like that wouldn't be what you would do in the real thing. Would have to research it to find out for sure though.
