backspace340
I've had an issue pop up since 2.5.3.21444 which I've never had before, both at 1080p (which I'd switched to in order to work around the bug in the previous version around clicking menus) and at my native 4k. The mouse cursor has a weird textured background to it: I tried changing my resolution and restarting DCS a few times but nothing changed. I use a Samsung Odyssey, so I'm on SteamVR. icemaker
I had this issue for years and since last update it's gone. Have you tried to close your session and reopen it after resolution changes? This issue seems to be related to the windows text size above 100% (i am at 150%)

backspace340
Odd, I use the Odyssey and have never seen this, all your drivers are up to date? Windows, and Windows Mixed Reality all up to date? Yep all up to date - I've not seen it until this very latest Open Beta (I played just before the update and all was fine, just after and this cursor issue is there). I'm assuming it's related to this change: VR. Cursor stretching in VR with windows cursor scale - fixed. My main monitor is 4k and my scaling is at 250% (it's a 4k TV that sits across the room). But I tried changing it to 1080P and 100% and relaunching the game and that made no difference.
omskTransmash
Isn't this the same old bug? https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=170193 I had the same issue i had to reduce to 125%, did not changed since.

Well I never saw it before the latest patch and the ONLY thing that's changed on my system is the version DCS is running, so something's different. yogipol
Ok, setting text size to 100% did the trick for me. But, the question is, do I really have to do it every time I launch the game? Finbarr996
All fixed for me - I had the issue with both the 1080 screen res to ensure lower screen options could be clicked with the mouse, and also the problem with the corrupt mouse cursor when at anything more than 100% screen scaling. Both issues have now been resolved, although oddly, at 100% screen scaling, the mouse cursor corruption returns - however on a 4k monitor, I usually run it at 150%, so this isn't a problem. Nice work and thank you to the devs for getting this sorted - very much appreciated!
backspace340
in 2.5.3.21444 this issue should be fixed ' date=' if it still reproduced for you please post your DCS.log, options , and describe your scaling settings in windows[/quote'] Yeah as I mentioned I'm in 2.5.3.21444 and have this issue (and never had it before this version). I've made an album with my settings and screenshots of the cursor at each Windows scaling option from 300% to 100% and there are artifacts on each one - 300% is the best (but you can still see a vertical line to the right of the cursor, and the cursor is absolutely massive). https://imgur.com/a/w2s4zLY dcs.log is attached - though n.b. it'd be really helpful if .log was added as an allowable file on these forums so I don't have to faff around zipping it. omskTransmash
ok ' date='thank you found issue and fixed internally[/quote'] Visited again to post my screenshots of 2.5.2.20601@openbeta, Glad to know the issue is being fixed. If this can be any help, I had this bug for a long time, and found this old fix: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=170193 Scaled to 125% and did not changed since then, (about 5 months ago?) today i tried 150% with my 20601@openbeta , first it looked OK, but after reboot. and found the same corrupted cursor: (attachment) What am i thinking is that this bug never reported and fixed, has been always there, and this is the first time it is being officially investigated. Hope this helps!
