mvsgas Posted October 21, 2018 Posted October 21, 2018 It even has flares, that is awesome. To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
Alex Voicu Posted October 21, 2018 Posted October 21, 2018 It's a nice Warthog model, but some of the details like the panel lines or rivets are far from competition level.

Emmy Posted October 21, 2018 Posted October 21, 2018 He's built a really nice Warthog that does some fun things but he kills any sense of Scale by flying it wide open. With that much power, it needs to be flown at 1/2 to 2/3 Throttle, max. It spoils it a bit by hooning around with it like its an F-15 :/ Proud owner of: PointCTRL VR : Finger Trackers for VR -- Real Simulator : FSSB R3L Force Sensing Stick. -- Deltasim : Force Sensor WH Slew Upgrade -- Mach3Ti Ring : Real Flown Mach 3 SR-71 Titanium, made into an amazing ring. BitMaster Posted October 21, 2018 Posted October 21, 2018 Dunno, I have flown RC for years and from my understanding his wingloading is fairly high, you can see this how it tracks and very clearly when he comes in for landing, flaps full down she still sinks like a brick. That's actually very nice to fly...just flying it in scale appearance is impossible considering the A-10's slow motion tracking. You'd need a foam style A-10 with eletric duct fans w/o gimmicks to stay that light to fly that slow...but then you bounce around like a 1-day fly, not nice either. I prefer the higher wing loading for what it's worth. he should not have pulled it in the Immelmann like a mad dog, actually he flew quite OK apart from a few F-15 like things. And yeah...the model is far away from competitive level, MILES away, that freaky those WC guys are Gigabyte Aorus X570S Master - Ryzen 5900X - Gskill 64GB 3200/CL14@3600/CL14 - Sapphire Nitro+ 7800XT - 4x Samsung 980Pro 1TB - 1x Samsung 870 Evo 1TB - 1x SanDisc 120GB SSD - Heatkiller IV - MoRa3-360LT@9x120mm Noctua F12 - Corsair AXi-1200 - TiR5-Pro - Warthog Hotas - Saitek Combat Pedals - Asus XG27ACG QHD 180Hz - Corsair K70 RGB Pro - Win11 Pro/Linux - Phanteks Evolv-X
