Bungle_uk Posted January 26, 2020 Posted January 26, 2020 Sorry to drag up an old thread but it did help me. I can confirm the brightness controls do work as does black hot white hot. You seem to have to repeatedly press the controls rather than keeping it held in order to see the effects on brightness. Granted, the brightness controls are only available via a keybind and not physically in the pit. I have Attached 4 screenshots with white hot and black hot at mid and low brightness settings. Was never the best photographer though :D

QuiGon Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 The EP-13 brightness/contrast panel is still missing and with the new global lighting that came with the recent patch this is a real issue as the EP-13 sight is way too bright now... Any word on this @Heatblur? It's been two years since this was reported... Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
Dimus Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 I was thinking of starting a new thread but maybe this one is relevant. For me the EP-13 never lights up. After selecting the RB75 ans switching to ANF it should turn on and I would be able to slew the aiming point, right? At least that is what I see in tutorial videos and in the manuals. For me it stays solid green as in "off". Switching to A1 or A2 mode or selecting T0 or T1 does not make any difference, neither does trying to increase brightness and contrast. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Dimus Posted March 15, 2020 Posted March 15, 2020 If you mean the weapon safety on the stick yes it’s on, although I understand that in ANF mode it should work even before you do that.

Graphene Posted January 18, 2021 Posted January 18, 2021 (edited) While we are all waiting for the EP-13 brightness and contrast control knob ... Is it possible to change the default brightness value somewhere in the configs so as not to change it every time in flight? Edited February 5, 2021 by alex.boiarintsev

Graphene Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 (edited) I already thought about making a controller with two knobs or buttons to control EP 13 :D Random picture for example) Edited February 5, 2021 by alex.boiarintsev
Machalot Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 I have the EP-13 brightness and contrast mapped to a hat switch on my hotas using a modifier. Is this not a good option for you guys who are talking about making a separate controller? "Subsonic is below Mach 1, supersonic is up to Mach 5. Above Mach 5 is hypersonic. And reentry from space, well, that's like Mach a lot."
