Maybe consider Drex's servers (DDCS) for dedicated server testing. His servers are usually one of the most populated at any given time. For many of us its where we exclusively play.

I've read somewhere that for the time being the dedicated server is being tested on servers with little or no scripting to help diagnose problems.

yea other servers have dialed back the scripts for testing. im sure Drex could have done the same seeing how he has 2 servers and could set one up for testing.

Ciribob said that they had been running Blue Flag on the dedicated server for a while now with all the scripts enabled. Only for 1 day this weekend did they run a specific test with no scripts running.

They've been running some features and tools of the dedicated server, not the whole thing for a while

Can someone explain the benefits of a dedicated server vs what we currently have? I'm sure its supposed to be heaps better but exactly how? (I'm not a techie, I just fly the jets!). I'm assuming a ded server would allow be easier to run massive scripts etc (like some sort of online MP campaign, etc)?

i hope i will be able to use it in my local network for offloading the CPU of my gaming rig. Today to do that you need to buy twice campaigns and terrains...i hope that the dedicated server will be able to use my main account
