Whozdär Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 (edited) Please make that sound go away or be massively reduced before release. Or give me an option to remove it. A suggestion would be to use an intercom volume knob in the cockpit to control the volume of Jester. Edited January 3, 2019 by Whozdär
QuiGon Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 Already answered:The noise probably won't be removed- it serves as nice feedback. It's way too loud currently, however- it will be subtle and not annoying. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
Cobra847 Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 And to add to that answer; the ICS knob already controls jester volume. Nicholas Dackard Founder & Lead Artist Heatblur Simulations https://www.facebook.com/heatblur/
Seb71 Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 And to add to that answer; the ICS knob already controls jester volume. Same volume for the Jester menu and for when Jester actualy speaks? If it is a single volume control for both, it does not help at all with this issue.

Cobra847 Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 (edited) Guys - you both need to read the quote above. :) The noise probably won't be removed- it serves as nice feedback. Baz000 Posted January 5, 2019 Posted January 5, 2019 does the F-14 have an intercom between pilot and RIO, would rather use the intercom button PTT as the way to bring up the Jester menu, love the idea of using TRACK IR to navigate the menu too

Donno about key bindings, but from what I read all navy two seaters ICS can either be hot mic Or ptt. Where in PTT pilot had a button on the stick PR the throttle (my guess right next to the radio ptt). And RIO/BN has a foot switch. Ohh.. and it was stated in the past, that the cat's ICS is already integrated into SRS. I just hope that Viacom will integrate Jetster as well :) Creator of Hound ELINT script My pit building blog Few DIY projects on Github: DIY Cougar throttle Standalone USB controller | DIY FCC3 Standalone USB Controller
