We have the mi8, Gazelle, and my favorite, the huey

The huey has longline capability but its not suitable for lifting most of the cargo offered the mi8 has has the greatest lifting capacity.

We need, UH-60/CH-47 for larger longline/cargo in general however.

AH-64 would be great for combat (we are getting the mi-24 and AH-1)

But honestly i would love an observation helicopter of some kind @eagledynamics

Such as OH-58 for multiplayer

list of Helicopters Needed in order

1. OH-58

2. AH-64

3. CH-47

4. UH-60/ or naval equivalent

w/ aerial refueling capabilities

Please and Thank you

mmm funny you should say that,..

Polychop Simulations OH 58

Then there is also BO-105

But yeah if it's got rotors it's gotta be good.

Control is an illusion which usually shatters at the least expected moment.

Gazelle Mini-gun version is endorphins with rotors. See above.

Currently rolling with a Asus Z390 Prime, 9600K, 32GB RAM, SSD, 2080Ti and Windows 10Pro, Rift CV1. bu0836x and Scratch Built Pedals, Collective and Cyclic.

While I wholeheartedly agree on your request, I must point out that there have been numerous posts on this over the years. These posts and threads contain the usual suspects that you mention.

A good search of the forums will yield these results and explain a lot of why we don't have any of them as yet, such as classified systems, etc.

Personally I'd love an MH6 or the holy grail of helo's...AH64.

Edit - Hmmm didn't know Poly have committed to the OH58!

Unfortunately, we can make all wish list we want, if that's not their priority (sad when you see what the engine can do for choppers :( ) , it's not going to happen. F16 means more $$, simple.

But a AH64A (I don't dare ask for D) would be absolute instant buy from me. I can't stress it enough. I would even start a Matt Wagner Worship cult. Same with Lynx, or some naval ops helicopter (Helix, Seaking, Super Frelon)

Now if you excuse me, I'm back to sleep in my Mi8 cabin :)

TBH from that list we need atleast 2 new airframes for NATO:

1. attack helicopter (I'm sure the AH1 is coming for this); and

2. a troop transport/utility eg. the Blackhawk/Seahawk

AH-64 has to be a matter of "when," not "if." As does the H-60.

There are four helos in dev or planned right now that I can think of, with several more tallied for future devwork.

The last ED video (2018 and beyond) was very disappointing for rotorheads with absolutely no trace of a single blade on any scenes and therefore a pretty dull 2019 year for us. I raised this point on the YT comments and Nick Grey (one of the founder of ED in 1991) answered:

"You will be pleasantly surprised Sir. 2019 will be great for helos too. Many thanks for your support..."

So yes, the latest Mi24P 3d model screens shown on the newsletter were showing an aircraft that they just barely started to work on, Miltech-5 is also showing very little progress for their BO 105 and Polychop are asking us to be patient for the last 18 months and that something big is coming ( OH 58 ), but I still want to trust what Nick Grey told on YT.
