HoneyBadger Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 (edited) I love having a pilot body in my aircraft but it can get in the way of important switches and buttons, depending on the aircraft. I know I can bind "Show Pilot Body" but I feel as an option it would be convenient for the body to hide when I overlay my mouse on it and then unhide when I mouse away. This could be a setting in the options menu. Edited January 21, 2019 by HoneyBadger
WolfK33 Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 +1 I´ve thought maybe a good solution would be to make it work like the flashlight, make the body transparent in an area around the mouspointer like the lightcircle of the flashlight.
Voodoo_One Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 +1 Wasn't so relevant in the past for me. But since I use a VR headset, it is essential to have the pilots body - But I still find it hard sometimes to click switches. 1000 flights, 1000 crashes - perfect record

Sandman1330 Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 You can use shift+p to temporarily remove it without going into the options menu, but I know this can be tough in VR. I like wolf’s idea though! Now this is a pretty brilliant and sophisticated way of handling it. Hopefully someone at ED thinks so as well.

SharpeXB Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 Don’t turn on the pilot body. Problem solved. That’s the whole problem with trying to show this, it hides the cockpit from you. i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 OC | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR 5
