I added one to mine, very useful to setup the aircraft at night. Just a quick browse and you will find Werewolf’s mirage nvg mod. Then set the nvg focus distance, and its beautiful. I do wish it came oficially, but I doubt it ever will. To be honest I use it mostly to compensate for the poor resolution and brightness I get with VR.

Interesting. IRL there is quite a bit of work involved in terms of the cockpit lighting and MFD's/HUD to get them to work with NVG's. Not sure one way or the other if it was used on the Mirage, but I doubt a French 80's era fast jet would have had the capability as even the US was struggling to work out the various issues, and Gen3 ANVIS goggles weren't really available in any numbers until the late 80's early 90's.

The Mirage 2000-C is still flying combat operations today, it is a possibility they made some adjustments/upgrades to allow their pilots to use NVGs.

Without a doubt thats possible. But the question remains what exact model is in the "sim".

Current model in the sim is the 2000C S5, and IIRC it's the same that is still used. But I'm not sure if they added NVG compatibility to the cockpit.

French Air Defence variants are not NVG capable, as their cockpit has not been modified (it implies adaptations on the lightning).

French Air Force Mirage 2000C have been converted to use NVG. I have seen and been in the cockpit personally with the NVG converision. As Zeus said we will be adding NVG to the M2000C Module.

Yeah the M2000C will have the adaptor plates for the NVG and the NVG switch added, just like the real thing

Works in 2.5.4 but I haven't tested multiplayer.

 

Turn down the brightness on the HUD and cockpit lighting and it works reasonably well.
