jonsky7 Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 Hi Should you be able to power up all the cockpit with ground power? I have all four gnd pwr switches on, flick the gen tie button, cockpit console/instrument lights come on, but after a second the gen tie fails and lights go back out. Cant get the right DDI to display. I can confess to not reading the manual on this, just looking for a short answer. Thx
Tholozor Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 IIRC some of the ground power switches need the B circuit instead of the A circuit to operate fully. Nooch Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 I wanted to make a thread about ground power a couple of weeks ago. I haven't figured out how I'm supposed to get it to work properly and if it is fully modeled yet. I saved a track of me testing the system and trying to uncover it's oddities if anyone's interested.f18 ground power test.trk [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

dorianR666 Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 near the left circuitbreakers, there is a table describing what systems are powered by which A/B switch you have to move your "head" lower to see it CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600X GPU: AMD RX 580
Rennes Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 Also, after the crew connects ground power, you need to move the master ground power switch ( the furthest aft one) to reset. Then hold the first switch for a few seconds, if it snaps back to off, you didn't hold it long enough.
lxsapper Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 Yeah preaty much what everyone said: Ext Pwr swith to reset and Hold then release. Then go through each of the 4 Ground power Switched holding for 2 secs in the A On position.
