Icebeat Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 (edited) When using the Night Vision in VR there is a black mask to simulate the goggles low FOV (scuba mask). Please remove this effect in VR, VR'users already have this implemented at the hardware level and reduce dramatically the FOV of view. I am sure that this effect works pretty nice in pancake (flat monitor) but in VR it is impossible to use it. Please consider adding an option to disable/enable this feature. Thanks. Shadoga Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 Confirmed, appreciate if you could improve these factors for NVG in VR!

Strikeeagle345 Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 +1 And HUD needs adjustable brightness especially when using NVG. There is a HUD brightness knob to the left of the VDI. I can dim my HUD Strike USLANTCOM.com i7-9700K OC 5GHz| MSI MPG Z390 GAMING PRO CARBON | 32GB DDR4 3200 | GTX 3090 | Samsung SSD | HP Reverb G2 | VIRPIL Alpha | VIRPIL Blackhawk | HOTAS Warthog

Harlikwin Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 Well IRL you get a 40 degree FOV when using ANVIS... If your rift is 100 deg FOV then it should be half that. Harlikwin Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 Actually I just tried the tomcat in VR at night. The NVG's work like a green full screen view like every other DCS module I've tried. Am I not understanding the issue? I'd love a lower FOV and the ability to look under the NVG like IRL. New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog.
