Rudel_chw Posted April 19, 2019 Posted April 19, 2019 no, they fixed that a year or 2 ago. Yeah, it was less than a year ago, as I purchased my Rift on May 2018 and was able to run DCS without any Oculus software running in background during at least a couple of months. Pity ... I assume Oculus does this to force everyone to take a look at their Store and hopefully get more sales. Fortunately, the Oculus software is still compatible with Windows 8.1 so I have not yet been forced into Windows 10 (knock on wood, lets hope this lasts a while yet) For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB

Zucked again :( Yeah if you turn off the PTC participation, the software will revert to the latest release version. 1.37 PTC is doing very well for me.
