From the release notes: Screenshot capture in VR: Capture screenshots from inside your headset by pressing the 'screenshot' button located on the menu on the right side of your Dash belt. There is a 5 second timer to set the pose and position of the screenshot. Images will be saved out to your C:\Users\*User*\Pictures\ directory. Happy screenshotting! I would have to say looks more like a mirror to me, but comparing a 2d image to a 3d environment, well really can't compare. Images seem sharper though to me. I would understand that it takes the super sampling resolution, but the aspect ratio changed too. Is it post-processing ? Mirage fanatic ! Probably picture size is hard coded in the screenshot function in Oculus software. Just a guess. DCS was running at 1.5 PD. I took screenshots in another flight sim, and running at native resolution with no super sampling. Those pics also were 1536x1536.
