rattler Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 how hard would it be to incorporate all of the mods for sky , ground , buildings,etc. into Birdy's Pack. Then we could all remove most everything and load one Pack that has most of all we need. Just a question, it may be impossible. Would make life easier though if we only had to put one mod pack in and get most everything. I am not referring to A\c skins, just the scenery mods that gave us good FPS. That's another question. How hard a hit is Birdy's Pack on FPS. If slim then adding all other FPS mods would be a whole lot easier. We could get rid of all those mods for scenery,water, structures, lights, trees, runways scenery mod(summer,winter,spring and fall) and have this one Pack with everything. I might have just asked for the world but if you don't ask you don't find out. cheers.

If they would it would make for an outstanding sim., which it is now but a few tweaks here and there always keep things interesting. Hope you are right.

In order to install Birdy's latest scenery one needs to have Static objects Pack already installed: here! NO, you do not have to install Static Objects Pack v1 !!! Only if you do, make sure you do it before you install scenery v1.3. Vekkinho Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 A bug that I've noticed: As you can see, tow bar included in scenery 1.3 is missing textures. Another question is on the hangars, there's 3 models (hangar with siderooms, open back and closed back hangar) but visibility ranges should be adjusted for all three types. BTW do these hangars differ in volume?!! For instance, when approaching particular airbases that have these hangars it seems that hangars pop-up last. Even smaller objects like tower and buildings are visible from greater distance than new hangar types. I believe that TOMCATZ is in charge with this question and hangar's LOD levels! Birdy, have you seen Groundpounder terrain mod by Rockwelder?! It's here: http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?t=25313 I hope there's no interferance between this mod and Your Scenery 1.3?! I ask because Your mod adds a lot trees that are edited by Rocky's mod in terms of textures. There's also a new terrain texture and since You used some of the Grandsurfs work in you mod there's another reason to check the compatibility of these two. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

The graphics of the towbar showing is a known problem that TheSystem is working on. On my PC the graphics also don't show but on my laptop they are fine. I wondered how this could be but after lockin on the map of turkey i saw the town merzifon and i remembered this mod's name. Why did you remove Razdolnoye? What is the sense of this turkish airfield? :cry:
Vekkinho Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 Merzifon is reallistic AB, Razdolnoye ain't, AFAIK it's just a helipad IRL + there's no default Blue ABs in Lock On map so NATO planes "occupy" Russia, Ukraine and Georgia so why not having one in Turkey. If you place a static object (plane) inside any of the new hangars you'll be able to see it from 5km distance. Once you approach hangar pops up over it. Can these clipping (LOD) issues be adressed?!
