Padlock all the mavericks to the pylons, point the nose up and "rifle baby" Seriously- you shouldn't have any trouble getting to 5k feet (im assuming imperial) even with a moderate load. 10k- you'll have to be cleaner, obviously. My typical fly ride on targets is 200-1000 meters, above it takes too much time and energy to fly upper. Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make...
