Vekkinho Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 (edited) Aaah, the tailcone...that's housing the dragcute and countermeasures! Edit: However, indeed there is a new panel on the upper side of the tailcone, in fact entire airframe is new, larger wings and intakes so it only looks similar to Su-27P... I'm asking for the yellow protuberance on top between the engines, It is not present on older flankers, look at the pictures of link: also I believe they put a small flare dispenser right in front of the part I'm asking for. mvsgas Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Sniffer, I do not know for sure, but it could be an antenna for IFF, UHF, VHF, TACAN/VOR/DME (Russian version) or GPS. It could be a skin/airframe strengthener, in my experience, combat fighters skin share some of the airframe stress and some part of the aircraft skin are as important as a wing spar or ribs and a fuselage bulkhead Look right in front of the cockpit of this F-18E, it could be something similar You can also see structural patches or skin strengtheners on the back of this F-16 To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..

Boberro Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Yea and only few FPS... but hope in today's hardware :smilewink: IMHO better watter = lower fps :noexpression: Heh so there is example good solution for this - better engine.:) Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
Vekkinho Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 And this could be true cause if You look closer to #902 - there is no such part: IR jammer?!! Well, at least it's right between the engines so it possible... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

mvsgas Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 (edited) Very nice, Vault. Extreme low flying especially in 2.56 :megalol: BTW which air forces were those? I thought that is just another version of that old French Mirage F-1 video in Chad's desert, what is it called? The original vid I think are from 2003 or 2004, I think. etc. The helicopter one I think is one of the coolest of that series of videos. RedTiger Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 new f-22 paint: I usually like loud colors, but THAT is hideous. What's the point? If it actually helps some how, I guess it doesn't matter.
nscode Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 it blends in with a russian cockpit, so it will be dificult to see at close range :D 2 Never forget that World War III was not Cold for most of us.
