Turn & burn

A Canadian Air Force CF-18 flies over the Eglin Air Force Base range during an air-to-

ground Weapons System Evaluation mission. The 86th Fighter Weapons Squadron conducts

the WSEP program at Eglin. The WSEP program is used to evaluate the effectiveness and

suitability of combat air force weapon systems. The evaluations are accomplished during

tactical deliveries of fighter, bomber and unmanned aerial system precision guided

munitions, on realistic targets with air-to-air and surface-to-air defenses. For many of the

aircrew participating in WSEP, it is the first time employing live weapons. This provides a

level of combat experience many units face during combat. Courtesy photo.

Joey, where is that runway that sits on the water? Both ends of the runway are at the water's edge.

I believe they call that an aircraft "carrier".

(sorry, couldn't resist :pilotfly:)

Shot in the dark, it could well be RAF Gibraltar. Wouldn't want to try rotating from that strip at MTOW in a Bucc! :D

Wow, this is very impressive, especially since the exponent seems to vary so distinctly after certain events happen. This seems to be a cool way to describe progress in a conflict.

There are only 10 types of people in the world: Those who understand binary, and those who don't.
