No sure if this has been posted before. Is a 7 part F-16 video. Look like from the late 1980. Cool shots of the A model cockpit, block 25 and some block 40/42 info. here is part one.

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.

Seems to me most button and switch markings on the ol' BLK25 HOTAS were engraved, right?!

All block HOTAS are engrave. With use they fade. This components, if possible, get repaired and return to service, lowering cost and time to get the part back in service. That is why most photos of them they look faded. When they are brand new (Throttle quadrant and Side stick) you can see all of the markings, just overtime, they fade.

Most likely from early 90's. AMRAAM's on F-16's only from 1992 onwards. :)

Yeah but there is only one or two scenes with the AMRAAM, I do not remember seen any on the aircraft while flying, maybe I miss that.

Douh!

:D Your right they are on the first scene Haha! I suck again  Plus the block 50 loaded with HTS pods! Douh! Douh!

Now that I look the AMRAAMS are all over the videos :megalol: Did not even think about it

Northrop Grumman Begins Full Rate Production of New Radar for B-2 Bomber

PALMDALE, Calif., Oct. 21, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The nation's fleet of B-2 stealth bombers will all receive a new Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC)-developed radar system following the U.S. Air Force's decision to authorize full-rate production of the units by the company's Radar Modernization Program (RMP).

The decision, made Oct. 16 by the assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition (acting), allows Northrop Grumman to begin fabrication of the balance of radar units needed to outfit the entire fleet. Those units will be produced as the final installment of the $468 million RMP contract awarded to the company by the Air Force in Dec. 2008.

F-16 jettisons bombs at Hill AFB; no injuries

HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah — Hill Air Force Base officials say an F-16 jettisoned two 500-pound bombs and two fuel tanks on the base just before making an emergency landing.

Col. Scott J. Zobrist says the pilot ran into trouble after taking off Thursday afternoon and had to return to the base about 30 miles north of Salt Lake City.

He says the pilot had to drop the munitions and tanks to lighten the jet's load.

Zobrist says it appears one bomb hit an empty tin shack on base. He says there are no injuries and the plane landed safely.

Zobrist says the two fuel tanks are accounted for and the incident is contained to the base.

Emergency teams are looking to make sure there are no munitions left that could explode.

Am I correct in assuming those are Shturm's being fired at .35 and 2.15?
