Shotsx74
In VR, using the Walleyes, and then when the seeker is supposed to switch to the DL or Walleye for live link / slewing, the shadows flicker in the cockpit.
Harker
Noticed something similar in 2D, but I wasn't sure. It was more like they shifted, like the sunlight's angle changed, rather than constant flickering, in my case. They turned back to normal once I stopped displaying the datalink pod video. Shotsx74
I tried to attach the track but its too big. Ill see if I can get it up here shortly for ya. It actually seems like it is effecting the sun some how? Kind of weird.
Shotsx74
Figured it out.... So, when using a TGP with the Walleye. The TGP needs to be on the FLIR not the TV camera and the Walleye needs to be on the wrong channel. This then makes the sun flicker around causing the shader issues. Track attached This was in VR, idk if it works the same without VR or not. I would think it does.TNN_test-0919-20191025-140308.trk

cthulhu68
I just had something like this happen. After WE impacts and you lose the feed and screen flickers I noticed cockpit shadows bouncing around, looked up at sun and you could see it bouncing back and forth in two spots. Switched off flickering WE screen and it stopped. Got screenshots but they look normal. Was using FLIR and Pod. Caucasus-8:00am-June 16th. Not VR. Switched off flickering WE screen and it stopped. Got screenshots but they look normal. Was using FLIR and Pod. Caucasus-8:00am-June 16th. Not VR.I noticed the same today. When the DL pod displays static, the sun changes position. It changes back and forth between the two positions, as you switch between displaying the DL pod static video feed on the DDI and displaying just the Stores page. Steps to reproduce: 1. Set up the DL pod to the WE and the correct channel. 2. Launch and guide the WE bomb normally. 3. As soon as the bomb explodes and the DL pod displays static, the sun changes position. *4. Switch between the pod video and just the Stores page, observe the sun going between the two positions. *5. After a number of switches, it'll stay at the correct, original positions. Shotsx74
Did you do this in MP or SP? I think they cant reproduce this because they are doing it in SP and not MP. This seems to only be done in MP.

This seems to only be done in MP. Both times it happened it was in SP, Caucasus map. I didn't notice it on PG, but that doesn't necessarily mean it can't happen there either.
