CCIP Issue Mk-82

Hey all

 

I was setting up DCS for a friend of mine and I made him a simple mission so he could practice some ground attack with the A-10A. No wind, standard day, loaded with Mk-82s. It seems like the bombs are falling way short with CCIP, current Open Beta, anybody seeing the same thing?

Tested at latest beta. Doesn't seem anything wrong depending on what exactly "way short" means.

Can you attach a short track replay showing the issue?

 

was this online? it could have been desync?

I noticed same thing when testing bomb lethality and blast effects with F/A-18C nad than when practising HADB and POPUPs. With CCIP delivery it always impact short of target like 6-15m. Without blast and fragments affecting target, I would like to se this fixed. Yesterday I was able to blast S-300 FLAP LID acquisition radar (huge fragile surface) with Mk83 from 15m distance, not even bit of reducing its life bar (full green) still able to guide missiles against me. :doh:But thats part of another hot bug report.

mk-83 are reported and are different issue from this one.

 

This report is regarding mk-82 and the A-10A

 

as far as I am aware mk-82 are working correctly.

I set up the same mission on my home machine and I cannot replicate the issue, next time I go over to my friends house I will try it again and see what happens + try to get a track.

 

And by way short, I mean 100ft short of the target from a 45 degree dive entry.:huh:

 

I tried multiple passes, and I couldn’t hit the side of a barn.

Is the target by any chance on a hillside?

Nope, just a few tanks placed on that small cross airfield south of Kobuleti... I can’t explain it as it’s works fine on my system. I’ll go back and check.

Yeah seems odd, I can not replicate on my machine.

 

If you get that track I will take another look.
