IronMike Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 (edited) Please note that we're aiming on releasing it with the next patch, provided everything goes well in testing. If not, the next one. Please keep that in mind to not get your hopes high prematurely. Thanks. BlackPixxel Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 Are there any news for there reworked phoenix implementation? It seemed like it was so close to being done.
QuiGon Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 Are there any news for there reworked phoenix implementation? It seemed like it was so close to being done. It looked like it was very close indeed, but then they apparently hit some major issue, that is now requiring major rework. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

Gunslinger22 Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 Haha oh god, don't you just love development within DCS, such a rollercoaster. Keep it up Heatblur! "I'm just a dude, playing a dude, disguised as another dude."
BlackPixxel Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 Ah, that is really unfortunate. Thank you for the update.
TLTeo Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 The new missile API doesn't work properly in Multiplayer. Oh boy. Is this on your end, or ED's?
QuiGon Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 Oh boy. Is this on your end, or ED's? If it's the API, which apparently got enhanced by some new missile functions, then it's on ED's end. It almost sounds like the new missile behaviour doesn't get synchronized to other players. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
IronMike Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 ATM the new changes from the new API do not take fully effect, so we need to finalize this together with ED, they are already aware of it. We will see if we can get it to work before christmas still, but no promise at this point, as it does not depend solely on us.
