Hey, guys. I noticed that there was a new sound for the RWR in the latest Viper mini-update video for TWS. My question is primarily to ED: are all of the RWR sounds fixed, or is this just for refreshing A/A contacts?

A quiet "chirp" is there. I heard it on the PC while at work but can't hear it on my PC at home so i gather it depends on your sound set up.

I wouldn't go crazy and expect new RWR sounds in the next OB update though, i'm sure there are multiple internal builds. Be awesome if i was wrong though. :)

Shouldn't we also hear "chaff", "flare", "counter", "lock" and "IFF" messages with the next patch? :)

We've updated several of the system tones, but there is much work to do on the specific PRF tones based on the emitter when in handoff. We have a huge library that needs to be accounted for and this will take time.

Thanks

Wow, nice to see this is being done.

Perhaps this work can be applied to other applicable modules like the F-5.

If it uses the AN-ALR 69 it should work.
