KuostA Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 mY MY My gosh, the model itself looks GREAT, as i've said before, it looks very round and detailed..but now with a skin, it looks better than ever! If you dont specialize in skinning or would like someone to help you out, mabey you should email someone like the renown Mitch to help you out in creating a realistic, worn, dirty skin. Keep up the work!! Keep posting shots :D
Skywall23 Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 The Flanker looks great!!! :D  Just hope it doesnt pass the limit of 30.000. but anyway, the problem is the fuselage, the Mirage F1 isnt so big as the Flanker after all. I may be wrong, but the wings will require less polygons. Good work so far, we REALLY want a new Flanker model. Keep rolling.
ED Team Chizh Posted November 23, 2004 ED Team Posted November 23, 2004 Well … All looks not bad, but whence this strange break of a fuselage behind a cockpit? It is not present on real Su-27. Please look at photos closely. Only one of examples: Единственный урок, который можно извлечь из истории, состоит в том, что люди не извлекают из истории никаких уроков. (С) Джордж Бернард Шоу

StrikeMax Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 Thanks for the input Chiz, yes it still needs refining and I am not worried about the side view, especially now after you've posted accurate dimensions. My greatest challenge is to figure out the "cross section" from all the pictures i have and the blue print , the front view i have is for the whole aircraft with middle sections blocked by canopy and nose. My dream is to get accurate cross sections of the fuselage at different points across the longitudenal axis of the fuselage. Can you send me those if you have them? Thanks for your input again.
Skywall23 Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 StrikeMax send a private message to Chizh, it will surely be more effective. ;)
S77th-GOYA Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 If some kind, talented soul would care to model an SR-71, it would be a very welcome addition to the AI aircraft. Pretty please!
ED Team Chizh Posted November 24, 2004 ED Team Posted November 24, 2004 To send the private message it is not necessary. I see all so. Unfortunately, now I do not have qualitative drawings. But I think, that I shall get it shortly. Единственный урок, который можно извлечь из истории, состоит в том, что люди не извлекают из истории никаких уроков. (С) Джордж Бернард Шоу

Guest DeathAngelBR Posted November 25, 2004 Posted November 25, 2004 If anyone is interested in modeling these, they are all single-seat planes: JA-37D Viggen A-7 Crusader Kfir C-10 Now the in-game AI planes that SHOULD be flyable: F-5E - dozens of nations still have them, why the f*** not? Mirage 2000 - give something to the french and indians to fly?
