Tacview 0.91 is available!

 

The biggest improvement is the new public flight recording format: It will enable you to create flight recording from any flight simulation and even from real life!

 

(So now, you just have to find a friendly coder to make you an exporter for your simulator ;))

Here the list of the main new features and improvements:

• Windows Vista is now supported
  
• Added full Korea map to support incoming Falcon 4 flight-recordings
  
• Added part of France map to support incoming Digital Fighters flight-recordings
  
• New options to display a flat landscape and reduce haze effect
  
• + Lot of bugs fixes and minor improvements

This version is a transition to 0.92 which will bring you new analysis tools and an improved GUI.

I cant get AOA or AGL data to be displayed in the telemetry window, do I need to enable or select something specfic to get this ?

I noticed in this tac view, the elevation is a lot higher than the previous ones. There, everytime you are landing or takeoff, or the enemy ground unit, they are way below the ground in tacview so sometimes you cant see it. For example

Lock-On vs Reality

In fact nothing has changed regarding geographical data.

This is the usual difference you can observe between Lock-On and the reality.

 

I didn't plan to improve that. But in incoming releases, you may be able to "fix" that by yourself.

I would like to use that option to export Debriefing. Do you have any example of how to do that? Currently I create the Debriefing and that's it. Don't know what to do with that. XML parsing is not my strong side.

 

Any tutorial around here as how to use this debriefing?

 

Any totorial about setting up the statistics for server at all?

As for XML, I have no experince in using it (I do not count editing the meinit into this "experience"). I was hoping just for solution for this option of tacview, without the need to learn everything about XML from the scratch. Since you provided this option, do you already have any meaning to use this debriefing?

 

Is anybody using this option at all, and how do you do that? Some example perhaps?
